Simon Walker

BSc (Hons) Podiatry,
Pg Dip (Podiatric surgery).
Lead Podiatrist & Practice Manager

Simon qualified in 2001 and has since worked in the NHS and private practice. Since 2008 has worked in Podiatric surgery at Holme Valley Memorial Hospital.

He has a special interest in heel pain, nail surgery, Mortons neuroma, diabetes, steroid injection therapy and foot surgery.

He has presented at international and regional conferences.

In 2013 he passed his part 1 podiatric surgery exam.

Matthew Jaggar

BSc (Hons) Podiatry,
Pg Dip (Podiatric surgery) Specialised Podiatrist/Podiatric surgeon

Since qualification he has gained a wealth of experience working in the NHS and also
private practice.

Matthew recently qualified as a podiatric surgeon and works 3 days per week as a specialist registrar.

Matthew's areas of specialism include nail surgery, podiatric surgery, steroid injections and biomechanics including heel pain, Mortons neuroma and bunions.

John Higgins

BSc (Hons) Podiatry,
MSc Podiatry
Senior Podiatrist

John qualified in 2005 and has since worked for the NHS and private practice.

He specialises in assessing the biomechanics of the foot and lower limb, including musculoskeletal and sporting injuries.

Once a week he runs an NHS childrens clinic assessing and treating children's foot problems.  

John is a member of the podopaediatrics special interest group and attends regular meetings and training events.  
 
John regularly carries out acupuncture to relieve painful foot conditions.
